List him as 2nd Regt U.S.C.T. Co A.. Appeared before Clerk of Circuit Court on February 19, 1890 in Fernandina. He had been in Fernandina for six years preceding his enlistment into the service
of the U.S. on June 13, 1863. His occupation was a contractor and a carpenter. He stated he was disabled by disease of lungs and eyes and jaundice from picket duty on Morris Island, South
Carolina. He was treated by Dr. Hawks first on February 14th 1865. He was then treated in General Hospital by Dr. Nathan Roberts. Moved to Charleston S. C. until the following April.
