To the Friends of the Freedmen
The bearer of this Rev. James Lynch missionary of
National Freedmen’s Relief Association has been laboring in the
South nearly three years and latterly for the past two months in upper
Georgia I can bear testimony to the good results
of his labors and of his fidelity to the cause of the Freedmen.

As he proposes to return here he will doubtless endeavor to excite special interest for this state, his statements may be
relied on.
