Underwood & Underwood was located in Ottawa, Kansas. They
started producing stereoscopes and stereoscopic images in the
early 1880s. Bert and Elmer Underwood began the company by
selling stereoscopes door to door. They established branches in
Baltimore, London, and Canada and relocated their
headquarters to New York in 1891.
